Head out on Valentine’s Day for dinner with @milestonesxrds and @hummingbird604
Actually, technically you can’t head out for Valentine’s Day with me given that I am going out on Valentine’s Day with someone else. BUT since some of my readers suggested I should do a giveaway for singles who (obviously) wouldn’t be out and about with a partner for Valentine’s Day, I partnered with Milestones Crossroads (on West 8th and Cambie, and one of my absolute favorite restaurants in town) to give away a $100 gift certificate for dinner.
Milestones Crossroads’ owners (Colin and James) have been incredibly nice to me and you may remember that I celebrated my birthday last year there with a bunch of my friends. I definitely have a soft spot for Milestones Crossroads. And you can use the gift certificate to treat a friend, or take a group of friends out on the town and have dinner while enjoying the amazing view from the Crossroads area (Broadway and Cambie). My photo doesn’t really do justice at how pretty the view from this area is.
In fact, Milestones Crossroads is giving folks a chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day for 5 days: their special promotion is a dinner for 2 for $50 package with a choice of shareable appetizer, your choice of entrΓ©e (seafood pan roast, prime rib, Mediterranean chicken, Top Sirloin with crab & shrimp or butternut squash ravioli), and a choice of shareable dessert. It’s honestly great value for the money! And the promotion is active from February 10th through 15th.
To enter my giveaway, you just need to tell me who would you take out for dinner on Valentine’s Day (of course, if you are single, you can take your Mom, Dad, friends, etc.) Tell me who and why you would take them for dinner. I will be drawing a random winner from all entries (Twitter and blog) on Friday February 11th at 2pm. I will count a comment on here as a first entry and a second entry if you place this sample text on your Twitter stream:
