Treat your Valentine to dinner at @The_Teahouse via @hummingbird604
I love the whole Sequoia group of restaurants, having had in the past dinner at The Teahouse and Seasons in the Park. You may remember that Seasons in the Park partnered with me along with The Arts Club in December to give away a Christmas holiday package. Well, this time The Teahouse (also part of the Sequoia Group) is partnering with me to help you treat your loved one (or a friend) to Valentine’s Day dinner.
I am giving away a $100 gift certificate card to a lucky reader for dinner (the Valentine’s Menu is linked and you can make reservations here – the price is superb, $45 per person excluded of tax and gratuities). To enter my giveaway, the first mode of entry will be a comment on this post, telling me what is your favorite romantic spot in Vancouver (or elsewhere if you live outside Vancouver but within the Lower Mainland). For me, there’s a certain element of romanticism that comes with sitting on the beach, and in Stanley Park it would be the seawall, I think.

Walking along the south side of False Creek seawall at dusk… Leg in Boot Square and past the Olympic Village… it tends to be quieter but you have the most spectacular view towards the opposite shore… the city, lights, architecture and mountains…

This is going to sound pretty obvious, but my favorite romantic spot is the Teahouse. My husband and I had our wedding lunch there two and a half years ago. We’d love to visit there again for Valentines!
I think my favorite is either Seasons in the Park or Top of Vancouver Revolving. Both of them have superb view!
There are so many romantic spots in metro Vancouver – l love being near the water on a sunny evening with my hubby – Valentines day is our anniversary so going out for a special dinner would be divine.
I’m awfully bias since my favourite romantic spot has everything to do with the night and who I was with, but it would have to be the whole street in the Gastown area. The lights, ambiance and general decor make it somewhere wonderful and romantic to walk down with your special other.

It would definately have to be Grouse Mountain- the view of Vancouver during the sunset is amazing and very romantic. Love it!

My favourite spot is right between the province building and waterfront station downtown where you can enjoy the view of the north shore mountains, the five sails and the docks. Beautiful!

You might’ve already seen my tweet (@herrohachi) about how The Teahouse was where my fiance and i had brunch right before he proposed and it would be so awesome to go back there! So of course, i’d have to say that my fave romantic spot would be anywhere at Stanley Park. I also love Steveston Village… really anywhere that has views of the water 🙂
One of my favorite romantic spots is along the Seawalk in West Vancouver and watching the sunset there. I also love walking along the seawall in Stanley Park and Kits Beach in the summertime.

Granville Island is a great place. That is where I love to take my girlfriend all the time.

Samurai Sushi at 41st and Cambie is my favourite spot to take my husband for a ‘romantic’ treat (We don’t get out much as we have a 10 month old at home). They have fresh, massive sushi rolls, impeccable service and great hours.
My favourite romantic spot is anywhere near the water, I love the Sylvia Hotel!
Queen Elizabeth Park is my favourite romantic place. Couples love going there for wedding photos, so I think it’s pretty romantic.
