The Mount Pleasant/Main Street social scene
A couple of years ago, I wrote a post where I indicated what the community who visits Main Street/Mount Pleasant could be looking for in terms of activities. I often write about my neighbourhood because I love promoting local businesses, and of course, I’m interested in getting to know my formerly-industrial-now-residential area more in-depth.
This post could be extremely long if I don’t put the brakes on it, so I’ll just mention a few things that might be of interest for potential visitors, in particular, some of my personal favorites.

Coffee shop: J.J. Bean (Main and… 14th, I think?)
Best coffee, bar none.
The Reef, Locus, the Grind… Maybe there should be a separate category for cheap-and-tasty food like Legendary Noodle, Sunny Spot Cafe, or Pad Thai on Broadway.
