The @FiveHoleForFood Canada-wide campaign for food banks
I recently had the opportunity to attend the Vancouver street hockey game of the Five Hole For Food campaign, initiated by my good friend Richard Loat, as a fundraiser for Canada’s food banks (a 10-day trip in 9 cities). During the summer, food banks seem to have a lot less donations and thus Richard decided to embark in a cross-Canada trip to raise money for the less fortunate who rely on food banks for their daily nutritional needs. These are a few photos of the game (you can see more on my Flickr photo page).
Kudos to Richard for embarking in this noble project. From my own experience, doing fundraising is quite challenging and I really tip my hat to him for doing this for the food banks.

Hi Raul,
Great pics!
Was lucky enough to make it out to the Toronto event on Canada Day! Such a great initiative – wonderful way to bring together and benefit the community. Proud to participate personally and professionally.
Congrats Richard + all supporters/volunteers on a successful cross-country road hockey fundraising trip. Next year…East coast Richard?? 😉
Cheers!
Tonia
P.S. Raul…did you play?? 🙂
