April is Daffodil Month (Canadian Cancer Society)
If you have been reading my blog for long enough, you’ll know that I have lost too many loved ones to cancer. Thus year after year, I’m always delighted to promote the Canadian Cancer Society’s April is Daffodil Month campaign.
On Daffodil Day we ask Canadians to take a moment to reflect upon the thousands of people who are living with cancer and to remember those who have died. On this important day we encourage Canadians to do something special for those living with cancer or to contribute in some way to the fight against this disease.
Daffodil Day is April 27th, 2012 and thus on that day, the Canadian Cancer Society requests that you consider doing something to show someone afflicted with cancer that you care. Please consider joining the campaign. Below you can check a PSA for the 2012 campaign (including Rick Campanelli). You can follow the Canadian Cancer Society on Twitter and/or join their page on Facebook. You can also wear a virtual daffodil pin by using the Facebook and Twitter applications here.
