I have a pair of mountain passes to Mount Seymour for one lucky reader that can be used all weekend; including Sunday, Feb 12th, where the theme is 80’s slope style at Mount Seymour. There will be prizes for best dressed skiier and snowboarder, plus giveaways and all the 80’s music anyone could ever want to hear!
To enter my giveaway all you need to tell me is what you like the best about our fair city (Vancouver). While I am not much of a skier, one of the reasons why I love Vancouver is because I can snowshoe in the morning, and sail in the afternoon, and have a lavish dinner in the evening. Our city is, at the same time, urban, and sophisticated. There’s city, and there’s slope! The schedule of events for City and Slope 2012 is here (opens to PDF).

My favourite part of the city is how easy it is to get in & out of the city to natural spaces. I can be up a mountain in the morning and still make it downtown for work at 9am!

I love that the downtown core is so residential at the same time. It gives this city a unique vibe that is absent in most others.

I am originally from the prairies, and I love the view of the mountains! Vancouver is so majestically beautiful, even on my way to get groceries I am blown away by it’s beauty. Grouse grind is also a personal favourite!
Being born in Edmonton allows me to fully appreciate Vancouver that much more. With so many things being within walking distance, I love the fact that you can wake up and go to the coffee shop on the corner and then stroll over to Granville Island for some shopping and sightseeing. With so many activities to do and sights to see year round, no matter what the weather is like, it is no wonder why Vancouver has been my city to live for the past 20 years.
I love Vancouver because has the best to offer in running, biking, hiking, climbing, beaching, paddle boarding, and eating!
