Win tickets to a triple-header at @PushFestival
As you know, I’m a big supporter of the PuSh Festival 2011, and I recently attended the launch of the Vancouver 125 Anniversary celebrations, as well as the launch of the PuSh Festival. I have been given tickets to a wonderful triple-header that you may enjoy. Close at Hand 8pm / Inventions & Mysteries 9pm / The British Columbians 10pm – a triple header at Club PuSh, Friday Jan 28 – Performance Works.

In the spring of 2009, The British Columbians were first brought to the public’s attention when they were unanimously voted “Canada’s Best Undiscovered Band” by a virtual who’s who of the Canadian music industry.

Thanks Raul for sharing your continuous exuberance, dedication, hard work and integrity. I was born in Vancouver and aside from 4 years in Asia and a year in France, I have lived here all my life for half a century.
I’m a third generation Vancouverite who’s lived here for 32 years. A small slice of my family history: my maternal grandmother was born in front of the fireplace in the house she lived in until the day she died, 85 years later. From the time I was a young girl, until she passed away, we would have tea together each week and she’d tell me stories of what Vancouver was like back in the 1920s, ’30s, etc. I’ll always cherish those moments.
I have lived in Vancouver for 5 years now…and before that was in Maple Ridge for 4 years, and before that I grew up in Port Coquitlam!
I have been in Vancouver for almost 6 years. I love the PuShFest but have never yet attended a ClubPuSh even.
