Velo-City Global Vancouver 2012 (June 26-29)

While I was completely and entirely put off by Velo-City Global Vancouver 2012‘s ridiculous requirements for media accreditation (and while I wasn’t even going to look for media accreditation despite the fact that I vastly exceed their requirements), I know that Vancouver is strongly pushing for a stronger cycling culture. I am also a scholar of environmental studies, and I do strongly endorse non-fossil-fuel forms of transportation, specifically biking. So I decided to put my strong dislike for their media policy aside and write about Velo-City Global Vancouver 2012.
