Summer Art Camps for Kids 2012 (North Vancouver Community Arts Council)
In a way, I kind of feel as though if I should post these on my good friend and book co-author Arieanna Schweber’s blog (Active Mama) as her audience is more on the parental side, and definitely she has a great community and audience as well in North Vancouver (where she lives with her husband, also a very dear friend of mine, and her two sons). But I figure that I should also provide some content for the parental units in Vancouver and the North Shore and surrounding areas who follow me, which I also know are substantial. So for those of you who want to start grooming the next Picasso or Emily Carr in your family, the Summer Art Camps for Kids 2012 organized by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council are a good option.
Art Camps run weekly from July 9 – August 31.
Two classes each day, morning and afternoon.
Camp fees are $125/class or $250/day (full day includes supervised lunch break).
We have lots of different camps to choose from this year: from crafty, to fine art, rock star, animals, mosaics, jungle hunt, wizardry, recycling into art and improv, drama and dance.
You can check the full schedule of activities here.
