10th Annual DiverseCity Multicultural Festival (New Westminster)

For obvious reasons (I sit on the executive board of The Network Hub and we have a campus in New Westminster at the renovated Westminster Quay, now River Market), I promote New Westminster relentlessly. I have a stake in New Westminster’s regional development and I’m in love with the Royal City as is. So I’m excited about the 10th Annual DiverseCity Multicultural Festival 2012 happening RIGHT NOW (Saturday May 19th) in New Westminster.

Since its inception ten years ago, the Multicultural Festival has grown into a signature event for the City of New Westminster and an integral part of Hyack Festival Week. Saturday, May 19th, 2012.

The 2012 Multicultural Festival will take place on Saturday May 19th at the New Westminster Quay boardwalk (between Fraser River Discovery Centre and the River Market).

The festival is a celebration of the rich cultural diversity that exists in our community today. This family event celebrates the beginning of summer and all that Canada has to offer. Cultural groups representing lands of near and far, bring their unique traditions of celebration through world music, dance, interpretation and taste.

The Downtown New Westminster BIA has proudly partnered up with the City of New Westminster, Scotiabank, River Market, Fraser River Discovery Centre, OMNI TV and Astral Media to bring you this milestone 10th Annual Event!
