Corporations in Our Heads (Headlines Theatre)

I love experimental theatre, although it’s been a while since I have seen any that is similar to Headlines Theatre’s 2 Degrees of Fear and Desire. I was just informed that Headlines Theatre will be using a similar format in a new production “Corporations in our Heads”, which will attempt to evict the corporate voices that occupy our collective psyche, creating an experimental dialogue that may potentially lead to the creation of a main stage production.

Downtown Vancouver near Waterfront

Corporations in Our Heads runs from May 24- May 27th, 7:30pm at the W2 Media Cafe, 111 West Hastings. Tickets are by donations, and RSVPs are recommended by email rsvp@headlinestheatre.com or phone 604.871.0508. Join them as they experiment with ways to evict the corporate voices that occupy our collective psyche.

The voices of corporations tell us hundreds, perhaps thousands of times a day, what to buy, how to feel, how to perceive and the kind of person to aspire to be. Let’s turn the theatre into a laboratory to explore how those voices shape the way we relate to the world.
