Proposition 8 banning gay marriage in California ruled unconstitutional

Vancouver Pride 2011

To be fair, I never thought that February of 2012 would be when I would find out that Proposition 8, the November 2008 ruling that banned gay marriage in California, has been now ruled unconstitutional. A great day indeed for GLBT rights, but not a victory in and of itself, since there is still time for this ruling to be appealed. Let’s wait and see what happens.

Cute bench, my cousin is gay and lives in California. He has been engaged with his partner since 2005
