Wine and Cheese Fundraiser in support of the Brewery Creek Community Garden (Mount Pleasant)
My good friend Sarah asked me to forward this to my readership, and since I DO live in Mount Pleasant, and it is a fundraiser, I thought I’d share with my readership. After all, you may have read that there is a number of community gardens emerging in several areas, including the Broadway and Fraser part of Mount Pleasant. The fundraiser is a Wine and Cheese Social in support of the Brewery Creek Community Garden, and will take place this Saturday November 26th, at the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House located on 800 East Broadway (a couple of blocks east of Fraser Street). Tickets are $20 in pre-sale and $25 at the door.
For tickets you can email brewerygarden(@)gmail(.)com. It sounds like it will be a very fun event that also will focus on building a community. If you are at all interested in community gardens, and/or live in Mount Pleasant, please consider attending this fundraiser, and spreading the word!
