New H&M at Metropolis at Metrotown

Want some awesome, cheap and stylish fashion? Look no further than H&M, who opened a new store at the Metropolis at Metrotown mall in Burnaby.

Finally an H&M that you can visit without having to go downtown. I loved the space and the lighting in the store. The guests of the exclusive event I attended really seemed in a shopping mood: there were long lines at the fitting rooms and people walking out with big bags of purchases. Although H&M isn’t really my style and I’m kinda broke, I certainly could see the appeal of the stylish threads thoughtfully displayed throughout the store. I even took a moment to visit the men’s and kids’ sections. My pictures (iPhone pictures, sorry about that) don’t represent the crowd that evening: there were fashion influencers, a DJ and excellent catering.

The new H&M Metrotown officially opened on October 13th at noon. It’s located right next to the Forever XXI.
