Antique Row on Front Street in New Westminster
One of the things that motivates me to share information about New Westminster is that I believe in a holistic paradigm of regional economic development. It’s important to me that the campus New Westminster of The Network Hub (located inside River Market, right by the Fraser River in New Westminster, in the former Westminster Quay) succeeds.
One of the best ways for us to attract great entrepreneurs is to demonstrate just how awesome and unique the city of New Westminster is (did you know that New Westminster is the oldest city in British Columbia and before Victoria, was the capital of the province?). So, I’m always happy to promote more New Westminster content. I have even considered moving here!
Minna and I set out to walk around and visit Antique Row on Front Street (a short walking distance from the New Westminster campus of The Network Hub). We were both amazed at how many cute shops we found, and how unique the content of each of these shops was. It’s definitely worth making a trip down there for a visit. We even found a swordsmanship training school!
You can reach Antique Row by taking the Skytrain to either Columbia Skytrain Station or New Westminster Skytrain Station and walking down to Front Street (in the south direction). And since you’ll already be there, you might as well visit our campus at River Market. We may even offer you a cup of coffee! There is also a lot of other shopping you can do in New Westminster.
