Thanksgiving dinner in Vancouver restaurants, 2011 edition

There is a phrase that I am not particularly fond of (Thanksgiving Orphans) that describes, apparently, those people who eat a Thanksgiving dinner alone or do not have someone to share this rather relevant meal with. I’m lucky that I’ve never been a Thanksgiving Orphan, but at the same time, I would like to help those who don’t have any plans for Thanksgiving to find a restaurant where they can get their meal. I have done this type of blog post a few years in a row, most recently last year.

For this blog post, please do suggest any restaurants offering dinner, or any special (particularly charitable) events that might be associated with Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks!

– On Open Table I found a list of participating restaurants, very handy guide.

– Tourism Vancouver offers a few (narrower guide) suggestions.

– The Vancouver Dream Centre is offering a Thanksgiving Dinner for those afflicted with HIV/AIDS, which is an amazing event.
