Aeriosa at the Scotiabank Dance Centre

As part of the recent Scotiabank Dance Centre Open House, Aeriosa offered a free preview and I couldn’t make it, but my intern Content Manager, Jessica Brodeur was able to take a few photos. Aeriosa’s spectacular aerial dance events combine the athleticism of rock climbing with the grace and artistry of dance: the company was one of the highlights of Scotiabank Dance Centre’s opening festival in 2001 and now returns for the 10th anniversary with a new work. The company will give a sneak preview of excerpts from the second half of the piece where 6 performers dance down the seven-storey exterior wall in cascading duets, trios and quartets.
