Barely Balanced at the Vancouver International Fringe Festival 2011 (giveaway)
Acrobatics are always exciting to watch and we’re really excited to feature one of the most original acrobatics show at this year’s Vancouver Fringe Festival 2011 (or is it the only one, perhaps?): Barely Balanced.
We’re already sitting at the edge of our seats just reading their troupe bio:
Three friends at Hocking College decided to combine their daredevil antics and reckless stupidity to create an acrobatic show that would strike fear into the hearts of insurance adjusters everywhere. They drew their inspiration from a variety of characters such as Jackie Chan, Cirque Du Soleil, and the Marx Brothers. Combining this inspiration with years of experience gained in detention due to class clowning, they created an award winning show that has toured the country entertaining audiences for nearly a decade.

…because I do all of my own stunts. (silly inside joke among the Dot Com Pho crew… let’s just say I’ve had my fair share of spills.)
… among other journeys, I traveled through northern Mexico, starting from Juarez, by bus.
I am not sure that this really counts, because I didn’t have a moment of fear, but it seems to impress some people with my daredevilry.
…because I managed to do the Zipline at Robson Square despite being terrified!
Beacuse I rode on a roller coaster and it terrified me….
because I’m independent!
