I’ve got really weird tastes in music. This song currently has me a bit addicted. Not sure who does it sound like. Clearly I’m not the only one who likes it because as you can see, it even has its own Wikipedia entry. It sounds to me a little bit like a combo

I <3 that song! First ran into it in Rockband or Guitar Hero or something.
Silversun Pickups is great! Like Brandy, I discovered them by way of Rock Band 2. They have tons of great songs. Panic Switch and Rusted Wheel come to mind. I did a Sunday Snippet blog post with a quote from the lead singer. From what I recall, one of the band members said they were partly inspired by Smashing Pumpkins, but they obviously want to create their own sound.
