Launch of Pinkberry Canada at the Village in Park Royal (West Vancouver) and a concert with Cory Monteith and Bonnie Dune

One of those crazy things. I love The Village at Park Royal, I love good music, and I love frozen yogurt. My good friend Mel (who lives in Chicago) says that Pinkberry is some of the best frozen yogurt, so I had to attend the launch of the Pinkberry Canada store at The Village in Park Royal, West Vancouver. I attended very briefly because I had to attend the launch of the Vancouver Queer Film Festival too, so I stayed literally 20 minutes at most.

Justin Wilczynski and Cory Monteith from Bonnie Dune

One of the biggest draws for this launch, I will have to admit, was seeing Cory Monteith (of Glee fame) and his band, Bonnie Dune. Admittedly, more than anything I love Monteith because he is Canadian, primarily raised in Victoria. And the music they play is nice as well (I fell in love with Sea Sick).

But the draw for me as well was the delicious frozen yogurt. And the staff, instead of being totally scared of the thousands of fans who were lining up for a bit of a treat, were incredibly sweet.

I did get to try a little bit of the Pinkberry Canada frozen yogurt but I’ll have to pay them a visit later next week. And make sure next time that I am able to spend more time at the event, because I’m sure the concert was a lot of fun and I didn’t really get to enjoy it. Congratulations to Pinkberry on their Canadian launch!
