Fish Creek branch of the Calgary Public Library
When I visit a new city (or a city like Calgary, which is the home of my brother, sister-in-law and nephews, as well as Tanya and a few other Calgary-based friends), I usually try to visit their libraries. I visited the University of Calgary recently when I spoke at the Canadian Association of Geographers but I did not get photos of that library. That said, I did get photos of the Fish Creek branch of the Calgary Public Library.
From the architectural perspective, it’s a really good building, even if you never used their books, you can always go and check it out for its beautiful display and distribution.
It’s not that size matter, but it does!
Besides, I am a library geek, as you may have read from my odes to the Burnaby and Vancouver Public Libraries.
