After a hatus of 8+ years. Bill Taylor brings back his much acclaimed “Lock Up Your Sons and Daughters: Anti-Queer Films 1950-1990” back for one night only. Acclaimed and heralded by film festivals world wide, this collection of anti-gay shorts brings to light such shocking details as the previously unheard of connection between homosexuality and Communism, that you can catch that homosexuality sickness just as easy as Smallpox, and 2 (yes 2!!) films that debunk that myth that “good bathroom habits can make you a sissy” (Billy’s quote, not mine!). Catch classics such as “The Gay Agenda” and of course, “Neurotic Behavior – a Psychodynamic View” on Tuesday, June 7th, at 7:30p at the Pacific Cinematheque.

Tickets are $15 dollars and can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets or at Little Sisters. And for those of you who might be lucky enough, I have a pair of tickets to give away. Just tell me in the comments section (and you may need to Google this question!) how many states in the United States of America do not accept gay marriages?

Obviously, it’s possible that some of you may get the answer right, and of those, I will draw a random winner on Monday June 6th at 2 pm (I will inform the winner on this blog, and he/she will get their tickets at the door).

45 states do not offer same-sex marraige, 29 explicitly defining marraige as one man-one woman. Of the 45, 11 provide some form of same-sex civil union (with Illinois being the very recent addition to that list).
