David Guetta at the Vancouver Convention Centre (win tickets) #MusicMonday
It’s Monday, and as usual, I’m writing about music, and this time, with a great giveaway. Blueprint Events and the Adelphia Group are bringing Grammy-winning DJ, David Guetta to the Vancouver Convention Centre on May 22nd, to play for a 6,000-person audience. From what they tell me, this is poised to be the largest indoor show B.C. has ever hosted without assigned seating. This is the first show of its kind to be hosted in the city and over 5,000 tickets have sold so it promises to be a packed show and an amazing event on the Victoria Day long weekend.
Who/What: David Guetta and special guests Avicii, DJ Sultan, Ned Shepard, Nadia Ali
When: Sunday, May 22nd (Victoria Day long weekend)
Time: Doors at 7
Where: Vancouver Convention Centre
Tickets: On sale now at Ticketmaster
Blueprint Events and the Adelphia Group have entrusted me with a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky reader to attend the concert and I’ll be drawing winners on Friday May 20th at 5:00pm (you should respond that you can attend within 24 hours of me contacting you, as usual).
To enter my giveaway, just drop a comment on this post telling me what’s your favorite musical tune. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a deep house song (but of course, some of mine are actually deep house).
You can learn more about this great concert on this link.

I know it’s not even close to Deep House but Pachabel’s Canon makes me happy every time I hear it. Apologies to all piano players who read this- I know it gets way overplayed at weddings.
I WANT TO WIN. Please please please π I love Guetta! It will be a night full of memories π
What’s my favourite musical tune? well out of the spirit of this contest I’ll say David Guetta – Gettin’ Over You. It’s so addicting!
I just realized who this is. Memories is an awesome tune. “All the crazy shit I did tonight”. Any DJ that works with feat is usually good. Sign me up!
I actually like “Married Life” from Pixar’s “Up”. It’s good study music.
Thanks for the contest, Raul!
One of my favorite songs (and video) is No Doubt’s Underneath It All.

I have 2 songs for you, one older, one newer but both great. Flavio Vecci & Marco Bertoni: Look at me http://bit.ly/7vSy4 and Flatland Funk & Tory D: Lose Control http://bit.ly/co9kKu
Boy do I hope I win this giveaway… Thanks for the opportunity!
My favorite song right now is “Time to Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli / Sarah Brightman but if you’re asking for a Guetta song, I’d have to go with “Gettin’ Over You”.
Please merge this post with my last, just had to add in a few more favs – Woozy off of the Beach Soundtrack: http://bit.ly/ITzAz and Zoot Woman: We Won’t Break http://bit.ly/8sCA2
At the moment I’m partial to Chase and Status’ “No Problem”

Right now, I find myself singing the traditional song, Yellow Bird, more than anything else. Of course, that might be because I have a newborn in the house! π
As you can see, I clearly need to get out of the house and listen to some David Guetta live!

Lovers Lane by Orjan Nilsen
I played it during a car ride with my ex-girlfriend during our break-up.
We sat in silence listening to the beautiful melodic guitar as it pounded deep into both of our hearts.
I told her that this song reminded me of her…She smiled and replied, “I love it.”
And then our relationship ended.
