Where is Metro Vancouver’s best martini?
Back in the day, I would be all about the gin-and-tonic (I still love G&T, even though my alcohol consumption has come to an almost absolute halt these days). The above said, I’m looking forward to summer season and hopefully ONE martini. If you were to choose a bar that offered martinis in Metro Vancouver (anywhere in the area, be it North Vancouver or New Westminster), where would you recommend? Drop all your suggestions on this post! I have had the cheapest martinis at Café Crepe, and some of the best at Delilah’s (formerly Conviction Kitchen and right now I think under renovation).
In the rest of British Columbia like the Modern Café in Nanaimo for Nanaimo Bar martinis, and obviously Clive’s and Veneto Lounge for amazing martinis in Victoria (both Shawn and Simon know my taste well). In North Vancouver, I’m a fan of Arms Reach Bistro‘s mango martinis.
But, tell me – where is YOUR favorite martini being served at?

My fave is going old school at the Hotel Vancouver. If there is one thing that Fairmont can do, it’s a fantastic and chilled out retro drink.
My best martini experience was at the Four Seasons http://www.yewrestaurant.com/
Maybe the ambiance has a big influence on the rating?
the greedy pig in gastown has a saskatoon berry martini that rules. it reminds me of the prairies
One of my favourites is the classic cosmo made with white cranberry juice…they have a great one at The District in North Vancouver 🙂

Fairmont Vancouver Airport’s Jetside Bar has some very good martinis to rev your engines. Their “Mile High” is delicious. I think they have a new honey-infused martini/cocktail made from their own honeybees that I haven’t tried yet
Hands down, Delilahs

The Vault in Cloverdale makes some pretty delicious martinis! http://www.vaultrestaurant.com/
