I really don’t like working from home

It’s been YEARS since I last have worked from home. YEARS. As in, “when I was finishing my PhD thesis” kind of years. Various reasons behind me eschewing the home-bound working. First, I really don’t like working from home. Sounds repetitive, but it’s true. I like having a separation of work and life. And often I don’t. I always being my day by working early in the morning (as soon as I wake up)

Second, I have two great offices, at The Network Hub and at UBC. I really don’t need to work from home, simply because I do have the space to work from a proper office. Third, I don’t have the ideal setup for working from home. The only reason I do it is usually because there is no way I can do laundry unless I work from home.

So, in short, I really don’t like working from home. The End.
