Readjusting to a new digital camera
In the past 18 months, I’ve had 3 different digital cameras (all point-and-shoot at the moment – not sure I want to take the DSLR plunge just yet). The first one was a Canon Powershot SD 1200IS, the second a Canon Powershot SD 1300 and right now I am using a FujiFilm FinePix J250 (which is a discontinued model, in fact – yes, I know – and it was a bargain – I needed to replace my camera).
At any rate, I do miss my Canon Powershots. It’s hard to readjust to a new camera. Particularly one that is not from the same family of cameras I had been using. My photography had been slowly but steadily improving, and I find it slightly frustrating to have to relearn how to operate my new camera, most importantly because now I need to learn how to maximize my camera, before I jump into the DSLR pool.

Clearly, my eye is getting more trained and my photos are better. But I still need to readjust to my new camera. What an annoyance.
