Fashion’s Night OUT! (fundraiser)

As you may have read, I was bullied when I was a child. That experience has marked the way I lead my life now (and of course, it touched me even more because I had to learn martial arts thanks to those bullies). I am a very self-confident individual now, but it always makes me really sad when I learn about gay teens who have killed themselves because of negative peer-pressure and bullying.

I was inspired to collaborate in creating Fashion’s Night OUT! (thanks to the kind invitation of Erin Gee of Define Magazine and Ashley Mangat and Niki Blasina of Social Chair PR). With Fashion’s Night OUT! we hope to raise funds for Out on Schools, a wonderful initiative that educates people about GLBT issues, acceptance and community building.

We will have some silent auction items, an amazing fashion show presented by White Space (The Bay) and V Lounge (Earl’s Restaurant) and of course, the cause itself will be fantastic.
