White Spot’s upcoming Christmas Lunch for Charity (Dec 25th)

White Spot has been really community minded, from what I have experienced. Recent donations to the Vancouver Food Bank and last year’s recycling projects really stuck with me. So I was really excited when I learned that White Spot has a Christmas Lunch for Charity. I didn’t even know it had been going for so long! White Spot sent me some information on the Christmas Lunch for Charity.

A holiday tradition for more than a decade, the Richmond Centre and Kingsway Vancouver White Spot locations will open their doors on December 25th to serve up delicious White Spot favourites and raise the spirits of those in need.

White Spot understands the importance of giving back to the community during the holiday season and employees will volunteer their Christmas Day to generate much-needed funds for this year’s charity partners: Richmond General Hospital Foundation and Variety – The Children’s Charity. All staff and management will generously donate their time, tips and all net proceeds from the sale of food.

It’s heartwarming that corporations put their money where their mouth is and continue organizing this type of community events. I look forward to hearing how it went (since I am on holidays, as you read this post).
