Mainly Main (magazine)

That I am in love with my neighbourhood (South Main Street, SoMa or Mount Pleasant, whichever way you want to call it), is not at question at all. I’ve written dozens, perhaps hundreds of blog posts highlighting great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the history of my beautiful neigbhourhood. I am even doing a giveaway where I ask you what makes the area where you live so awesome (the Travellers Deck contest). So when I walked into Latitude on Main the other day for brunch with Mark and David from GayVancouver.net, I realized that there was another issue of the online and print magazine “Mainly Main“.

Mainly Main is a new print magazine that launches this December! Featuring commentary and satire, this East Van monthly periodical is sure to get noticed.

For some reason, my brain didn’t connect the dots, and I didn’t realize that someone I met in person and actually have hung out with is the brains behind the Twitter account of @MainlyMain. So, for all things associated with our fine area (Main Street), you can read Mainly Main. I look forward to reading the next issue!
