What would my professional life be without a smartphone?
It’s been almost a year since my good friend Mike Yurechko gave me an early Christmas present and iPhone-ified me. Since then, I have used my iPhone extensively for just about everything. I pre-type emails and blog posts while I am enroute or commuting from one place to another. I respond to client requests and potential partners for my projects. I live by my Google Calendar, which is synchronized with my Calendar app on the iPhone.
Heck I have even used my iPhone to entertain my nephew L with the apps for little children! So quite frankly I can’t see myself without a smartphone anymore. Heck I am even considering getting into one of those tyrannical 3 yer data plans!
It’s amazing how my attitude towards smartphones changed so much in one year. I loved my “stupid phone” but now I am infatuated with my smartphone, and especially with my iPhone.
Ah, what a difference a year makes!

I can’t believe I’m still using a “stupid phone” from circa 2006. May just start looking into a smart phone.
Everytime my son sees my brothers, he begs to play with their iphones. They, too, downloaded many kid-friendly games. It certainly keeps my son occupied when we’re waiting for our food at a restaurant. Otherwise he’d be annoying people with using his bowls/plates/utensils to create some superhero utopia. Haha.
Tried the CalenGoo app? If you’re a devotee to google calendar like I am, the functionalities on the iphone will blow your mind…
