I can’t function without exercise anymore

This past weekend saw me go on a trip (combined academic talk, media trip and R&R). Of course there was a lot of food and drinks involved. Which somehow altered my exercise routine. It’s interesting what you learn about yourself by looking at how things like exercise and stuff affect you. In my case I have explored how lack of exercise affects me. I’ve realized (the hard way) that I can’t function without exercise anymore.

If I spend more than two days without exercising I find that I feel more fatigued, need at least 1 or 2 naps, and end up feeling tired and unfocused. I have decided that wherever I travel, I need to make sure that I plan my evenings in such way that I don’t over-eat, get enough sleep and exercise with the same intensive approach I normally use.

Exercise, praised you be.
