Heart of a Dragon (movie) opens this weekend

“HEART OF A DRAGON” (a film made by Vancouver filmmakers) is opening in B.C. theatres on October 29th. This feature film is inspired by Rick Hansen’s Man in Motion journey from 25 years ago and his ascent up the Great Wall of China. I didn’t realize that one of my very favorite actors in the whole world, Victor Webster (very much Canadian, and of Mutant X fame) plays Rick Hansen. Co-star Sarah-Jane Potts plays Amanda (Rick Hansen’s physiotherapist and future wife) in the film.

Heart of a Dragon is written, directed and produced by Michael French. It’s the story of Rick Hansen as he searches for meaning in the Great Wall of China. The movie looks really interesting and opens on Fridays in theatres. I found a little video promo of how the movie was made (shown below, available on YouTube).
