Happy belated birthday Minna (@TheNetworkHub)

Since I was stressed to the maximum trying to make sense of my presentation at Social Media Camp Victoria 2010 (it was a brand new talk so I wanted to make sure it was perfect), I neglected to write a blog post celebrating one of my absolute best friends in the world’s birthday, Minna Van (co-founder of The Network Hub and three other startups). It was really a great conference, but I am very sad to have missed her birthday.

Minna, you know I think the world of you and I believe you are the epitome of what a true friend is. You push and encourage me every day to be a better academic, policy analyst, researcher and educator. You go out of your way every day to make sure I am doing well and to help me achieve my goals. And you are generous not only with your time but with everything you do, not only with me as a friend but with entrepreneurs and society at large.

I am absolutely blessed to have you in my life and I look forward to celebrating your birthday this week. Much love as always.
