Vancouver Hackathon 2010 #hackyvr

My good friend Mike Yurechko is organizing a hackathon (not sure if it’s the very first one or not, but it seems to me as though it may be. It’ll be on October 8 through 10th, free of charge, but you have to apply to participate. The Network Hub will be the gracious sponsors for space, and more details on the event will be released in a few days (including beer sponsors, etc.)

Colin Percival (@cperciva) of Tarsnap.com and Kenshi Arasaki + Wilkins Chung of AThinkingApe.com are some of the confirmed speakers, and more details will be released in the next few days. I’ll update my post when I get more information, and will probably have it featured on my sidebar as one of my Highlights of the Week event.
