Happy birthday, @Airdrie

I consider myself blessed with the friendship of Airdrie Miller. As I have mentioned before, the one great gift that blogging and social media have given has been amazing friends. Air and I are so similar in so many ways. We both share a love of all things fashion/cosmetics (so much so that she invited me to be a guest host on Lip Gloss and Laptops, the podcast/website she founded with her friend KA, and which she continues to maintain, a few times).

We are both educators (she is a science and math teacher, I teach political science, but still, teach quantitative research tools too), we are both geeks and we share a passion to make a difference in this world. It was Airdrie and her organizing Coping Digitally at Northern Voice that inspired me to co-organize Mental Health Camp with Isabella. Today, and every day, Air, I hope you know just how much I value your friendship and we’ll have to celebrate with a MargaritaCamp soon!
