Qualicum Beach (Vancouver Island) in photos

With my recent visit to Parksville and Qualicum Beach, I got to tour both towns by bus and walking. Qualicum Beach in particular struck me as a small, pleasant village. Downtown Qualicum Beach is pretty and has lots of restaurants, small cafes and clothing stores. I was pleasantly surprised that there was even an alternative (bioenergy) centre.

I can’t wait for my next trip to central Vancouver Island!

How very pretty and picturesque! It looks like a English seaside town

It does, Teresa, and I’m really impressed with the community. Saw many people chatting with each other.

K, so im an ex-resident of this breathtaking village named Qualicum Beach. And yes, its a great waterfront community, only it sux that it closes business dooors at around 6 p.m……so you’re pretty well screwed if you require anything of great significance….if you can’t get it in parksville then you’re off to nanaimo and that isn’t very close if you’re in QB
