Not really a band, but I would LOVE to see Tom Middleton. A tremendous DJ from the Jedi Knights fame, we don’t get enough top class DJs in BC, Great prize package btw, it’s worked for me because now I will follow you on Twitter!

I would love to see Matt Good! It’s been many year since I’ve seen him in concert. I love outdoor music festivals and would be so stoked if I won. Been on a bit of a tight budget this summer as I look for work which has limited my fun factor somewhat.

“Said the Whale” hands down! I love their cd, and they’re from Vancouver! Would be amazing to hear them live in Squamish!

Love that you have a contest on your blog!

I saw Rich Hope at one of the LiveCity Olympic venues, and he did every crazy thing he could think of to get us to watch him instead of the speed skating on the screens. Great music too. I’d love to see what he’ll do to entertain an outdoor crowd @ LAS. I’m in the Okanagan, so having a place to stay at the festival is a huge bonus – great idea!

Love Jon and Roy and Mother Mother!

Hi, as I said via Twitter, there are too many wicked bands at this fest to pick just one as that which I’m most excited to see!

However, since many of the bands on this excellent roster are local, I have seen many of them before. Therefore, the band that I am most excited to see is Civil Twilight, since they are an excellent band that is traveling from far away to join us in this fair land.

In terms of local bands, my top top choices would be: Tokyo Police Club, Mother Mother, and I’m still a sucker for Matt Good. But really, so many of the bands going are amazing and I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about this concert.

It would totally make my horrible summer so much better to win this wicked package. Thanks!

A really interesting schedule there and a great prize pack – and damn I love Howe Sound Brewing.

Lots of bands new & old I’d love to see. Matthew Good of course, but having only recently discovered The Decemberists, I’d love to see how they perform live.

As luck would have it, my wife’s selling soap in Whistler on the Sunday so I’d probably have to find someone else to enjoy those sounds and drink those beers with me. There are worse problems in life to have.

One band, and one band only: DEVO!!!

KazzaAugust 24th, 2010 at 3:55 pm

I missed Devo at the Olympics so I would love to get my ’80s groove on!

Should I have the chance to go, I’d be most looking forward to seeing We Are The City. They’ve been my absolute favourite local band here in Kelowna for years, up until recently when they relocated to Vancouver. It was just announced that their guitarist, David, is leaving the band after this year, so there’s a very good possibility this would be the last time I’d get to see the 3 of them play together.

One more chance to sing and dance along with these dudes would mean the world.
