Jewelry for men

Jewelry in Men I grew up in a very conservative household when it came to stepping out of the traditional boundaries of clothing and jewelry. I’m glad I did, because I do enjoy dressing the way I do, which is a bit more conservative than some men I’ve seen my age. The one thing I have been experimenting with has been jewelry, and specifically rings (my good friend Minna gave me a jade splitting ring a few weeks ago).

I have also been experimenting with necklaces. This particular one I am wearing is a replacement for the (very discreet) one I lost during Pride Vancouver 2010. Suggestions for any good jewelry for men that is discreet (and not expensive!) always appreciated. And, what do you think? Necklaces good on me or not?

It’s a pretty traditional view for sure, but I’ve always felt that the place for men to get really expressive with jewelry is watches & cufflinks.

I’m not a fan of the novelty versions of either, but there are tons of materials/styles/finishes you can experiment with in both.

I have a 24″ 14kt gold box chain… but rarely ever wear it. Not a big fan of jewelry I suppose. But then again, I’m not fashionable or trendy in anyway.
