The @SMCYVR TechKaraoke (Canada Day)
I had already committed to judging the Best Burger Competition in Yaletown so I had to drag my Mom along for the other event I was committed to – Vancouver Social Media Club TechKaraoke. I organized one the year previous, along with Maura Rodgers, and it was a lot of fun. And this time, I didn’t organize, I just showed up (Lorraine Murphy, aka @Raincoaster, was the organizer).
You should join us next time! Also, I didn’t know that Kemp Edmonds and Heather Watson (Hez) knew how to sing, especially Heather amazed us with her Karaoke chops! Thanks everyone who came along!

Thanks for coming and bringing your delightful Mom, Raul! This may become a regular thing in the future, because Devin told me the Edge is getting a regular Karaoke…whatchamacallit, KJ, karaoke expert dude, to run karaoke in future. I strongly prefer social media events with the emphasis on social, so this won’t be the last of these!
