ComicVine – A superhero database

Thanks to Darren Barefoot for pointing me out through Twitter to this awesome database of superheroes (ComicVine). Even my favorite English superheroine was there (Godiva). I will have to give kudos to the person maintaining the database because there are few people that I know that know as much as I do about comics (and in particular, superhero comic books)

Moreover, the fact that the database includes Godiva makes me want to give praise to the compiler of this dataset. I think it all started with a tweet from Darren about hair-manipulating (prehensile) superhero(ines). Yes, I’m a comic books nerd. I roam the streets of Vancouver taking random photos of superhero action figures. I review superhero-inspired movies.
