Wearing jeans for @BCCHFJeansDay #JeansDay
I am headed downtown to my office at The Network Hub to continue marking final exams and papers, but beforehand, I’m going to stop at an event dubbed #MarksOver.
The thing is, today is also Jeans Day (organized by the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation). So, I am actually wearing jeans (I’m not wearing this same outfit but I don’t have a photo with jeans in my Flickr stream other than this one right now).
What is Jeans Day?
Jeans Day™ is a fun and easy event for people of all ages to participate in and show their support of BC’s kids. Simply by purchasing a $5 button or $20 pin, you get a chance to wear your jeans to work or school on April 29 and help the kids at BC Children’s Hospital.
How Do I Get Involved? You can become a Jeans Day™ Champion.
Champions are people who coordinate Jeans Day™ at their workplace. By inviting colleagues, family and friends to participate by purchasing a Jeans Day™ lapel pin or button you can help us raise over $1 million, through Jeans Day™, for BC Children’s Hospital.
