The 18th Wellness Show in Vancouver
Ever since I started blogging and going to local events, I’ve loved the Vancouver Wellness Show, now in its 18th Edition. I pride myself in taking care of my body and soul, and in general, I work hard at keeping myself in balance. Every time I think of The Wellness Show, I think of the variety things I could be doing for my own well being. The Wellness Show is a good trade show with exhibits that showcase a variety of businesses focused on helping you towards a healthier-living. And this time, thanks to Rebecca Coleman, I have a bag of goodies to give away (prize valued at about $200). I checked out the package that arrived to my office at The Network Hub.
I can tell you, it’s a good assortment of goodies! The Wellness Show takes place April 30th, May 1st and 2nd, 2010. To win this bag of goodies all you have to do is drop a comment on this post. The tagline for the Wellness Show is “all the resources to help you find balance in your life” and I really like the concepts behind. There will be workshops, talks and a variety of exhibitors (you can read the program here, it’s a PDF)
I will be drawing the winner of my bag of goodies on April 25th, 2010April 27th, at 2pm. Good luck everyone!
The Wellness Show takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Exhibit Hall B & C, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC, Canada (under the five sails). Tickets are General Admission $12.50, Seniors (65+) / Students $10.00, Children (6 – 15 yrs) $5.00, Children (5 & under) FREE and 3-Day Pass $27.00. For tickets, cash only at the door, or online.

Wow, that’s quite the prize!
I love the wellness show as well and will definitely be there!
Thanks for letting us know about the wellness show!
I could definitely take better care of myself – I just wish I didn’t procrastinate as badly as I do. Meh.
I’d love to win this goodie bag! Thanks for sponsoring the contest!
See you at the Show!
Love, love, love the Wellness show!. I started going to it, when it first started, and was held at Robson Square.
Looks cool!
I have been going to the Wellness Show for years! It is a highlight for sure! Trying all the samples, massage, great speakers. Would love to win the prize:)!!
I just moved here last year, and haven’t had a chance to go yet. Can’t wait!
Healthy food and regular sportive activity, the keys of being fit and healthy… no pain, no gain
I’m running again – would love a goodie bag to help me along.
Just moved back to van and cant wait to attend! Hope to win some goodies!
i will be in vancouver at the end of this month. i plan to attend. thanks for posting it.
thanks for the reminder about the wellness show — with all of the Olympic coverage my brain has been slipping when it comes to the yearly favourite events – can’t wait to attend — in the meantime crossing fingers to win!
I too love the Wellness Show. I’ve always had a passion for personal growth, understanding my own behavior, wanting to live life to the fullest, pursuing excellence and being my best self. This passion has led me to my purpose of helping others do the same ~ I can’t wait to see what the Wellness Show has to offer this year!
I am dedicating myself to a career in mind body and soul wellness. This path is taking shape daily and I’m excited to see its developments over time. Looking for wellness ‘anything’ and ‘everything’ in Vancouver led me to your blog.
Thank you for letting us know about the wellness show! See you there
This is the first I’ve heard of the Wellness Show, but it sounds fantastic!
Would love to win a bag of goodies and I always try and make the Wellness Show!
I relate to what you said, “…in general, I work hard at keeping myself in balance.” BALANCE is my focus as well. It IS hard. I have a Balance Angel Card under my computer monitor to remind me. Somedays she says, “Leave thy computer and move thy butt some.”
Looks like quite the delicious goodie bag! I’d never heard of the Wellness Show before, but it sounds like an event I should check out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
Love free stuff and always forward items to my like-minded friends/family/strangers on the street. I’ll be at a wedding so I’ll miss the show this year.
Started extra exercising (mainly because of the wedding) but will likely keep going with the nice weather.
Curious about the variety of ‘balance’ techniques for the show since it’s so individual. I love my Blackberry and it keeps me in check with the outside world and work but my husband prefers the personal touch. We complement each other but with different styles.
love the wellness show. i learn about such great products, services and food items that i would never have tried if it wasn’t for this event! love that the wellness show is promoting “balance”~ since that is really the key to most things in life!
I’d love to win this goodie bag! and thank you for letting me know about the wellness show!
Every year, I am able to make some wonderful changes and balances to my life just from learning and trying out the new products and services. I’m excited to see what I can add from this show. I also really like that it’s about improving the environment too. It’ll be my Mom’s first Wellness show and I know she’ll love it too.
Thanks to the people who started this great event and keep it going.
Really looking forward to the Wellness Show. We are so lucky to live in the city that is very health conscious. Looking forward to all the tips that I will take away from the show.
Would love to win this bag of goodies! thanks
A great contest and I love the Wellness show.
Looking forward to the Wellness show!
Yes, I’m definitely interested in attending the Wellness show 2010.
Ohh, lots of wellness goodies
Count me in!
Balance is a challenge these days. Particularly with women who are the primary caregivers for children and aging parents. We need to make individual choices/changes and also work with employers to support their employees so we have happy, healthy workers.
