Blogging as a learning exercise (Blogging 201)
I blog about a variety of topics that I find relevant to myself and to my readers. Some of these topics may or may not be intellectually challenging, but they are always things that I am interested in learning about. For example, recently I wrote about the misconceptions of calling tactical deployment ‘a strategy’. The reason why I did that was because I wanted to clarify these ideas. I had them clear in my mind.
I wanted to share my thought processes and undertake writing a blog entry as a learning exercise. Same with the post where I expand on the idea of dissent in social media. So, my Blogging 201 tip is – find a topic you want to learn more about or where you want to describe an idea in more detail and then blog about it. Doing the research and putting your thoughts in black and white will help strengthen your blogging practice.
