Happy birthday J. Karen Parker

You know those friends you can always rely on, for whatever you need and whenever you need them? Those friends who are always there in subtle ways, whenever you are facing tough times? Those friends who call you up in the middle of the day and say “hey, want to go for lunch? I’m in the neighbourhood of your office”. Well, my dear friend J. Karen Parker is definitely one of them.

Karen is the mastermind behind the WordPress customization of Hummingbird604.com. She made sure to customize the theme to represent me the way I want to be represented. She has hosted me and a number of other friends for poker nights, brunch and Pride-parade-watching, etc. Karen is always there when you need her and that is one of the many qualities I appreciate the most of her. She has helped me in many more ways than I can describe on a blog entry. And here I am, in the geekiest form of them all, wishing her a happy birthday with a blog entry!
