Congratulations to Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir
I had the pleasure of seeing my good friend Julie Szabo this morning discussing on Global TV the performance of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, the first-ever North Americans to win a gold medal, the youngest ice dance Olympic champions, and better than anything, the first Canadians to win an Olympic gold medal in ice dancing. Congratulations to Virtue and Moir, 14 years working together really paid off. The best part, I think, is that there is still room for another medal. Joannie Rochette is the reigning world silver medalist, and I wish her the very best. I have a feeling she might win a medal here.
