A silver lining on my wound

I recently got a wound in my waist, close to my right-hand side, right where if you lay down on your right hand side, you’d hurt yourself. Well, clumsily, I managed to hurt myself again, and from having a small blister/boil/pimple, I went to having a full-blow, bleeding open wound. Not fun. Normally, I would have just gone to the doctor right there and then (I have gone, not to worry). But what I did is I cleaned the wound and applied one of those silver-containing band-aids. I have to admit that I was surprised to see how quickly the wound healed. I was slightly worried as the blister/boil/pimple punctured and bled, but after the silver-containing band-aid was applied, it started healing fast.

NOTE – I am in no way, shape or form paid to write this. I was just shocked to see that those silver-containing band-aids worked so well, particularly since I’m not a fan of band-aids to begin with!
