Empty Streets (Late Night Alumni)

A few years ago, I began listening to DJ Dylan Drazen’s mixes. One of the ones I really have enjoyed the most is “Good Morning“, where I found a few tunes I really love. The one that I love the most is probably Empty Streets by Late Night Alumni. I was very impressed to hear that my very good friend Minna Van (The Network Hub) also likes this song and that she has the actual album. I hope you guys like it as much as I do.

The lyrics also resonate with me…

The city feels clean this time of night
just empty streets and me walking home to clear my head.
And though it came as no surprise, I’m affected more than I had guessed.
By what was said.

If this love’s not meant to be.
If a heart’s not ready to open.
If the naked eye won’t see.
It’s broken.

It’s that quiet time before the dawn.
And I’m half past making sense of it. Was I wrong?
Should I think to give it all.
In a world where not much ever seems to last long.

If this love’s not meant to be.
If a heart’s not ready to open.
If the naked eye won’t see.
It’s broken.
