Success overnight takes 10 years
A few weeks back, I sent out a tweet that summarized how I feel when people criticize me or when they somehow think that I have had everything I have accomplished given to me in a silver platter. Because, let me tell you my dear readers, there *are* people out there who *do* think that I have arrived to the place I have by virtue of some supernatural power.
So this is what I said.
It’s true. Success overnight takes anywhere from 10 to 15 years. I am living proof of that. And no, modesty isn’t my strongest suit

This is a great post. I am nobody, I’m not famous or rich, just a regular person doing her thing, but at least know better not to say anyone’s success is achieved overnight. This reminds me of the 10,000 hour rule from Malcolm Gladwell’s “Outliers”-successful people are successful-because they work harder than others! Clearly you are one of them.
