Small things make me happy

- Waking up in the morning to a sink that is empty and a dish-washing rack that has clean and dry dishes that just need to be stored.

- Seeing my apartment relatively clean (I mean, it can’t be spotless all the time, can it?)

- Having a date night with myself, watching TV in the dark, with my apartment lit only with candles.

- Taking a bath (yes, if you *must* know, I recycle the water afterwards).

- Coffee and a scone.

- Cinnamon buns

- Talking to my nieces and nephews. On Facebook. Over the phone. On Skype.

- Having a relaxed approach to a Monday morning (particularly considering that I worked all weekend).

- Toast, jam and coffee.

- Knowing that regardless of the longevity of my life in the social media world, I have always been and always will be loved by the people who care about me, those who pay no attention to my online popularity (or lack thereof).
