Win tickets to Edge of the Fest with George Strombo and to Out of Bounds double-feature

I love George Stroumboulopoulos (aka George Strombo) and I’m pretty sure many Vancouverites do too. I also like dark comedy. The folks at ComedyFest have kindly sponsored tickets for a quick contest for Edge of the Fest with George Strombo on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 at The Vogue (8:00pm) and for the show Out of Bounce my Ass double feature at The Cultch on Fri. Sept. 25, 7 pm/9pm (NOTE – the latter double-feature show is pretty non-politically correct and dark – so you’ve been warned!). If you want to win, drop a comment on this post and I’ll draw a winner tomorrow (Sep 23rd) at 2pm. Since I’m drawing tickets to two shows, I’ll do two draws at the same time. I have a deep love and appreciation for Strombo. He used to work at the radio station in Kelowna I worked at. Sometimes, the thought of him roaming the hallways w/ all his coolness was the only thing that got me through the day there! Also, he’s hot. And smart. And Canadian. I mean, Come. On.

OMG. ME! I actually have a tix to this already… and was just going to attend all by my lone self as I just had to go regardless. But, I have a g/f that loves him too.. & her $ is low.. so I’ll give this tix to her so we can reveal in the George-ness together! Funny.. I actually thought I was buying tix to the one w/Steve Martin, but the ticketmaster guy got it wrong That’s the one I’d kill to see…

But.. the question I REALLY want answered is.. can you hook a girl up to meet him.. He is seriously my dream man (ya, me & 1/2 the women in Canada.. lol). Canadian, smart, funny, tall, dark & totally hot – check! But you never know, right?
